A4 Holding approves 2025 financial statements: stable revenues and EBITDA up 1.1%. Traffic up 1.3% across the entire network and motorway investments increase by 38% to benefit users and local areas
09 April 2026

A4 Holding, a company of the Abertis Group managing 236 km of motorway network across the A4 Brescia–Padova and the A31 Valdastico, announces that the Shareholders’ Meetings of the Group companies have today approved their respective financial statements as of December 31, 2025.

The A4 Holding Group closes its 2025 consolidated financial statements with positive operating and economic results, confirming revenues at €465 million (stable compared to 2024) and reporting an EBITDA of €270 million (+1.1% vs 2024). This result was achieved through the optimization of operating costs, despite strong inflationary pressures on materials, energy, and technical services.

With regard to traffic data on the network (A4 Brescia–Padova and A31 Valdastico), 2025 recorded a +1.3% increase compared to the previous year, bringing the consolidated average daily traffic (A4 Brescia–Padova + A31 Valdastico) to over 67,200 vehicles per day. Heavy vehicle traffic also continued to grow (+1.2%), once again highlighting the central role of these motorways in Northern Italy’s logistics flows and the strategic importance of the A4 corridor at a national level.

During the past year, the A4 Holding Group—controlled by Abertis, a global leader in toll road management—further increased its investments (+38% compared to 2024), allocating significant resources to the development of increasingly technological, safe, and sustainable mobility for users. This includes the design and construction of infrastructure upgrade projects, as well as the enhancement of technological and safety services.

Total investments amounted to €211 million, of which €81 million were allocated to maintenance, technology, and safety to ensure full operational efficiency of the network and strengthen monitoring and management capabilities, while approximately €130 million were invested in new works and extraordinary maintenance.

These investments also contributed to an improvement in the fatal accident rate on the network, which reached 0.05% (IF3 index).

At the end of 2025, the Group’s total workforce—comprising the Holding, the Brescia–Verona–Vicenza–Padova Concessionaire, and its subsidiaries A4 Trading, A4 Mobility, and Globalcar Service—stood at 453 employees.
