A4 HOLDING 2023 ROAD SAFETY FORUM

After the success of the previous editions, the Road Safety Forum organized by A4 Holding S.p.A. is back to raise awareness on the issue of road safety, promoted for the third consecutive year by Athesis editorial Group.

The digital forum will take place on Thursday, 30 November from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The event will be broadcast live streaming on the websites and Facebook pages of the Athesis newspapers (L'Arena, Il Giornale di Vicenza, Bresciaoggi and Gazzetta di Mantova), and on the Autostrada Brescia Verona Vicenza Padova Facebook channel. It will also be broadcast in prime time on Friday 1 December on Telearena (at 9.50 p.m.).

Analysis of the past and awareness of the present are necessary for a future with fewer road accidents and safer mobility. The Digital Forum 2023 therefore develops between road accident data and tips for correct driving behaviour. Direct testimonies from people, organizations and companies, useful tips for avoiding accidents and becoming less dangerous to others, and recommendations from those who have made safety their priority, with the involvement of students, who will be able to interact live with the guests in the studio.

The parterre of the event is rich, as are the topics covered. To open the Forum on Road Safety 2023 will be Luca Ancetti, co-director of Il Giornale di Vicenza, who will introduce the first panels dedicated to the importance of having a global vision of road safety in order to be able to intervene effectively at a local level. Gonzalo Alcalde president of the A4 Holding Group, Bruno Chiari general director of Autostrada Brescia Verona Vicenza Padova (A4 Holding Group), Chiara Pascarella ACI executive communication manager who will present the ACI-Istat national data on accidents, will alternate on stage.

The day's programme continues with the psychologist-psychotherapist of the AOUI Addiction Medicine of Verona Lorenzo Zamboni, who will speak about the impact of drugs, alcohol, hyperconnectivity and sleep on driving.

Also among the protagonists will be Annalisa Zanchi, secretary of the Verona Strada Sicura Association, who will bring her touching personal experience.

In a video interview, Lino Dainese, founder of the technical equipment and protection company Dainese for sports, who will talk about his commitment to safety by telling the story of DAR, Dainese ARchive: a permanent exhibition presenting the projects that have marked progress in the field of safety, sports performance and design. Lastly, the speech by the Commander of the Verona Local Police and Member of the Local Police Coordination Table, Road and Urban Safety in ANCI, Luigi Altamura, will be dedicated to behaviour and rules relating to electric micro-mobility.

This will be followed by the concluding panel, in which young people will be the protagonists. Students present at the event and remotely connected, in fact, will answer questions on road safety posed by driving school expert Sergio Maistrello.
